Oatmeal with Flaxseeds and Berries

A warm, comforting bowl of oatmeal, enhanced with ground flaxseeds, berries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
    • 1/4 cup mixed berries
    • 1 cup water or almond milk
    • Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup water or almond milk to a boil.
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup rolled oats and reduce the heat to low.
  3. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are soft.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds and cinnamon.
  5. Top with 1/4 cup mixed berries and serve.
